New Xbox 360 to be Unveiled at CES?

Rumors are circulating around the web that Microsoft will unveil a souped-out version of the Xbox 360 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week. Destructoid, Stuff.tv, 1up.com and the Seattle Times have all predicted that Microsoft head Bill Gates will use CES to show off a 360 with HDMI, DVR and/or an internal HD-DVD player. I was already pissed off at the fact that they came out with HDMI for the 360…now it sucks even more knowing that there may be a console with DVR and an internal HD-DVD player. I guess this is what I get for buying the 360 at launch =(

As I mentioned before, I’ll be at CES covering all the games there and I’m trying to set up interviews with the major players at the event. Keep checking out “The Reboot” blog for updates.

    Hey Rio,

Thanks for the add on myspace.

Would love to see Reboot’s take on the buzz surrounding a possible “Ultimate” edition…

If you guys ever get an exclusive vid, make sure to wear more bay area gear to represent - ha!

    Peace… - Cid

Kayven - If RB is anywhere on the CES floor, I’ll rock out for you bro.

Cid - No prob on the add. If I do get an exclusive, I’ll definitely rep the bay area! BTW, my take on a potential “Ultimate” 360…I’d consider it if I didn’t already own a 360, but a DVR and HD-DVD upgrade could be pricey. At the end of the day, I think most gamers want to just play games. The Wii is proof of that.
